Why is my system not working? Solutions to common issues:
Min. 1200px Browser Window Warning
Is EditMentor asking to “Please Enlarge Your Browser Window"? EditMentor has a minimum screen size requirement of 1200 px. This is why EM does not work on mobile devices and most tablets at this time. It is important to ensure that your screen is fully zoomed out on Google Chrome to remove the warning screen and see EditMentor properly.
To do this, open Google Chrome, then go to View > Zoom Out. Click the button a couple of times to see if that will allow EditMentor to appear on the screen.
You can also zoom your Google Chrome screen by clicking the three vertical buttons near the top right of your browser window. Then click the minus (-) sign a few times until EditMentor appears on the screen.
Something Went Wrong Window
If this window appears, your Google Chrome browser needs to be updated to the latest version.
Update Google Chrome Browser
At the top right of your Chrome browser, click the three dots.
Click Update Google Chrome.
Note: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
Click Relaunch.
The browser saves your opened tabs and windows and reopens them automatically when it restarts. Your Incognito windows won't reopen when Chrome restarts. If you'd prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The next time you restart your browser, the update will be applied.

New Features Not Showing
EditMentor is web software that is updated from time to time. Because of these updates, new features don't always show up right away unless you clear your browser cache.
Clear Chrome Browser Data
Note: We recommend against clearing any passwords.
Everything is Buffering
If the buffering is happening on multiple computers at a school or large organization, it is important to check with your IT department to make sure EditMentor’s website has permission to be opened on school computers. It could be blocked by a web blocker, firewall, or IP restrictions.
If the buffering is happening on only one computer, try refreshing the browser. Many times this works.
After trying that, check to make sure it isn't an internet connection issue. Can you go to YouTube or another website and play their videos okay? If not, please check with your internet provider to see if there is an outage in your area.
If those don't work, please click on the orange chat icon at the bottom right corner of the EditMentor website to send us a message using the chat feature.
